Coolest D.O. of all time. Yes?
Another hw from my Typography class is to do TYPOGRAMS. I got a quote from one of my fave documentaries and the coolest guy out there in the streets of New York, oh…and he’s probably 80+years old. It’s Bill Cunningham!
We were tasked to do an infographic about something that we like/love so I chose my favorite blogger/illustrator, Garance Dore.
My first ever developed black and white film! I can’t believe I got to develop. Haha, it was a totally fun process and I wish I could do it again. At first, I was terrified but my professor was really awesome and kind and he answered all of our questions and more that everything felt alright.
I’m certainly going to do this again on Tuesday and I wanna do the process at home too. I’m currently buying all the materials needed and I’m going for broke because of it. I don’t care though because it’s just something that I love doing and I’m just completely in love with it.
Another project for my TYPOGRAPHY class is to make an invitation. I’m very much in love with Saul Bass+Alfred Hitchcock so I decided to do a “tribute” to them. A “surprise” birthday party for Hitchcock and the host is none other than ME!!! BWAHAHAHAAA. Kay.
YAY FOR HITCHCOCK AND BASS!
TYPOGRAPHY CLASS.
We were tasked to make a poster for Design Culture Now. I opted for a minimal look and here’s what I came up with.
Misty Afternoon…
went to Tagaytay for a retreat and it was pretty cool and misty. It was also drizzling on our way back to the retreat house.
Insider
I went inside DLSU-Manila for a talk about young designers, artists, etc. The inside was really cool especially the old school architecture, but I think deep down I’m still more of a SDA kid.
