In one of our seatworks for our black and white photography class, we were asked to take photos using natural light. The theme was ‘Nostalgia’ and I thought of my travels around Hong Kong when I was younger. Inspired by old school items, I used a vintage bag from my mom, vintage-looking round glasses and old school pencils, notebooks and maps.
The result: a very sharp looking photo from a medium format (Ukrainian) camera. It was my first time to hold and use a medium format camera and it’s amazing. It’s not a TLR as well but nonetheless made me appreciate the medium format even more.
My next camera-hunt is for a TLR so, wish me luck on that one!
PS. There was something wrong with the school scanner coz it always cuts up the image when scanning so this is what I got in the end. :|
